Theposition is accountable for leading the development and implementation of thesegment business strategy and strategic marketing plans based on customersegmentation in the assigned species.
This person will have accountability for the offering and relatedfinancial results. This role requires this leader to be passionate about theanimal nutrition business, contribute to the business team, and demonstratemarketing leadership.
Strategic Marketing Develop and implement strategic marketing plans for customeropportunities identified in the strategy work.
Establish a formal portfolio andinnovation pipeline (offerings & capabilities) from global and localinnovation to deliver the strategy.
Ensure robust execution, utilizing CustomerFocused Development (CFD) which includes project leadership, defining thebusiness case, developing offerings and capabilities, clarifying requiredresources to compete, and achieving business goals.
Customer Focus - Leadand proactively update customer segmentation and customer unmet needs to ensurethe business remains relevant and is perceived as better than the competitionin target customer segments.
Act as the business tag to one or several keycustomers.
Business Results & Intelligence - Conduct rigorous businesscases focused on delivering customer benefits for new offerings.
Lead Annual Business planning for the New Product Services andSolutions (NPSS) budget in the assigned species or segments.
Cohesively workwith sales leaders to measure and manage effective product portfolios and NPSS’that deliver value to the customer and to Cargill.
Proactively measure andmonitor performance and identify corrective actions.
Demonstrate the ability to successfully turn easy to implementstrategic customer focused plans into financial results for the business, byfocusing on enhancing perceived value by target customer segments anddeveloping a value based pricing culture and cababilities.
Be responsible for gatheringand analyzing business and competitive intelligence to act on decisions tostrengthen the business.
TacticalMarketing - Lead the tactical marketingplans for the business with respect to developing the offering defined in strategicmarketing plans (people, positioning, product, pricing, packaging, place,promotion) while closely partnering withtechnology teams as well as commercial teams across the region to deliver thefinancial results.
Collaboration Partner with other marketing leadersand technology leaders across Cargill Animal Nutrition (Strategic MarketingManagers, global SMT teams), and within Cargill.
Build relationships, establishing a proventrack record in serving the business, drafting best practices, gaining insighton new opportunities, and providing the voice of the customer’. PersonalDevelopment
Bachelor’s degreein an agricultural or business discipline or equivalent experience in business

Ability to communicate well in English (written, verbal)
Masters degree, preferably in Business,Business Administration, or Marketing degree
Experience working with technical teams onproduct innovation and solutions
