Job Description : Overview
The position is responsible for the overall management of the Talent Development and Engagement Teams, Performance Management, Talent Review and Succession Planning, and GES Administration, according to the agreed business strategy and plans for SLF Philippines and its subsidiaries.
In addition to the regular talent development programs, he is responsible for leading the team in the design and overall management of the Apprenticeship / Management Internship Programs, Technical Faculty Development Programs, HIPOs programs up to the level of Sr Manager, alignment of Corporate and Regional development programs for Asia, and support in the design and implementation of the Millennial Strategy Program.
At this level, he is expected to be the coach for core Learning and Development offerings and apprenticeship programs, master / lead facilitator for leadership programs, and a consultant to the different engagement teams and leaders.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities :
Drafts learning and development and engagement policies, procedures and guidelines; implements as approved.Collaborates with SLF Phils HR Business Partners and Management to identify and plan for learning and development needs of the organization.
Creates the annual training plan and develops appropriate programs and interventions to address organizational development needs.
Collaborates with HR Corporate and Regional Office L&D Team in the design and implementation of global / regional programs for leaders, and virtual programs for employees (Global Learning Center).

Leads the team in the design and maintains a curriculum of courses and associated development activities to meet business needs closely monitors their implementation and use, designs measures to evaluate impact of training efforts on the business.
Oversees the design and administration of the various industry-designation programs, tuition assistance program, apprenticeship / management internship programs, technical faculty development programs, and support to the millennial strategy programSources for and evaluates appropriateness of consultants or training programs when third-
party interventions are called for. Provides consultants appropriate information for successful implementation of third-party interventions.
Provides support to Corporate / RO on the design and implementation of Talent Review and monitors development of HIPOs at Sr.
Manager level. Provides support to Corporate / RO on the design of Global Engagement Survey, administers implementation and follow through activities related to survey conduct, cascade of results, and monitoring / reporting of action plans for PH.
Delivers in-house programs where required.Manages the Talent Development and Engagement budget
Education Level and Professional Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences or Management
3-5 years experience in similar capacity at immediate previous job
Graduate from reputable schools with strong behavioral science programs
Work experience from medium to large-size organizationsCertified DDI FacilitatorCertificate or diploma in insurance or MF relevant programsCertified Assessor or with work experience related to Assessment Center
Work Experience Required
At least 5 years experience in design & conduct of training and / or OD programsAt least 5 years experience in handling management / specialist development programsAt least 3 years experience / exposure in Apprenticeship and Management Internship Administration5-
10 yrs total cumulative experience in Training and Development or OD
