Job Description

As Business Development Manager with full responsibility for your assigned region, you will develop the market position of u-

blox as a global leader in the Middle East and Iberia. Working at the forefront of technology, you will achieve strong profitable growth by selling u-

blox products focusing on the development of direct existing, emerging and potential accounts in established and new markets.

The position is home office based in Tel Aviv, Israel or Thalwil, Switzerland. Depending where the person is located, the geographical area can be adjusted.

Tasks

  • Participation in the definition of the sales strategy
  • Implementation of the sales strategy in the area
  • Strong focus on developing direct existing, emerging and potential accounts in established and new markets
  • Managing and supporting of the local distributor
  • Coordination with the supporting Inside Sales
  • Sales through the entire cycle : Acquisition of new accountsMaking technical proposalsNegotiating sales contractsClosing ordersManaging existing accounts
  • Provide organization with feedback on : Current and future requirements from the marketCustomer satisfaction
  • Prioritization of accounts and sales activities in the area
  • Coordination with technical support
  • Coordination with sales administration
  • Coordination with u-blox sales outside the respective area
  • Support MarCom activities like press releases, trade fairs
  • Profile

  • University degree in engineering or equivalent experience
  • Min. 5 years’ experience in sales of electronic products
  • Excellent English skills and preferably Hebrew
  • Demonstrated track record of structurally and systematically develop new and managing existing business
  • Excellent customer relationship manner and the ability to handle difficult situations with diligence
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible team player
  • Good analytical skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and disciplined
  • Can work independently and self-organize
  • Professional demeanor
  • Travel required : 30%-50% of work schedule mainly to customers in the assigned territory or to the HQs in Switzerland
  • Broad technical knowledge in one of the following technologies; cellular, positioning or Bluetooth / WiFi
