To manage the day to day activity of an order management control tower, implemented to chase and escalate order exceptions for a retail client.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identify Unverified, Failed Verified, Unbooked, Unshipped and Late Shipped orders in KN Login (company system);
  • Extract Unverified, Unbooked and Unshipped orders and follow up with suppliers;
  • Extract Failed Verified orders for Quantity, Port of Loading, Handover Date and Value and challenge supplier to accept order within agreed tolerances;
  • Update orders in KN Login where suppliers have accepted within tolerance;
  • Capture reasons from suppliers for Late Verification, Failed Verification, Unbooked, and Unshipped orders and escalate where necessary using agreed escalation process;
  • Run and send agreed reports to customer, not limited to but including : Late Shipment and Large Scale Change reports;
  • Maintain professional relationships with supplier contacts for the above processes;
  • Update KN Login (company system) on suppliers behalf in the event the supplier has no access or has made an error.
  • Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor's Degree in logistics / transportation, Computer Science or Business is required
  • Experience in Logistics, Finance, IT or International Trading is an advantage
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience of shipment management systems
  • Understanding of purchase order management terminology
  • Proficient in MS Excel
