PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the GBS Asia is providing a high level ofservice to the Minerals based on theService Level Agreements

Manage the staff operations and administration forthe MIN GBS program housed under GBS Asia.

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

    Work closely with GPO and other stakeholders todevelop and implement the GBS transformation plan for Minerals affiliates.

    Manages the process for, and participates in, therecruitment of new GBS staff on behalf of with operations housed in GBS Asia facilities.

    Ensures fluid communications between the affiliatesand GBS team and that all issues and conflicts are resolved in a timely manner

    Manage and distribute daily work assignments forthe GBS Minerals team

    Regularly reviews the quality of the teams work(spot audits etc) ensuring relevant work instructions and quality documents(QP21) are adhered to.

    Ensures that Corrective action and Preventativeaction (CAPA) investigations are opened as needed and investigated, closed and findingsimplemented in a timely manner

    Participates in scheduled weekly / monthlydiscussions with affiliates to ensure that any issues both immediate andongoing are addressed

    Organize, manage and participate in staff trainingrequirements and schedules in coordination with Minerals Affiliates.

    Compile, monitor and report KPIs as outlined in theServiceLevel Agreements, focusing on continuousimprovements and coordinating with GPO Minerals to correct performancedeviations as quickly as possible.

    Implementspecific operational improvements as identified. These projects will focus onthe improvement of quality, efficiency, accreditation compliance, communicationand technical improvement.

    Maintaina working knowledge of all analytical procedures in the lab sections beingsupported by your team.

    Ensure the working conditions are provided andmaintained, including office space, computers, desks, etc.

  • Manage staff attendance and time off requests.
  • Conduct the annual performance reviews of GBS Mineralsstaff, especially access to or entry into the local TalentForce system.

    Facilitate and host visitors from MIN Geneva andAffiliates as needed.

    Review and provide any corrections to monthlyexpense reports to the Minerals Affiliates using the services of GBS Asia

  • Ensures all GBS operations are fully coordinated and compliant with the Head of GBS Asia.
  • Be compliant to all SGS Code of Integrity, QHSE, HR policies and procedures.
  • Analytical Thinking / Problem Solving

    Assure conformance level ismaintained for technical requirements of Quality Management System irrespectiveof operational and production pressures.

    Collaborate with other sections personnel inresolving any quality related issues.

  • Capable to work and make decision independently. Job Complexity
  • Multitasking is a must;multiple projects can happen at the same time set priority for the bestoutput for the business needs.

    Sometimes procedures andworkflow are not the most efficient / effective; alternative resolutions need tobe proposed.

    PROFILE

    Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree inChemistry or a closely related field

    Minimum of 5 years work experiencein a high volume administration activity of which 2 years in a supervisor / managerialposition

    Proficiency on all MS Office andLIMS (G6 and / or CCLAS)

    Experience in administrativeactivities and in professional interactions with back office functions, such asHR, IT and Finance

    Demonstrated potential to manage ateam of over 20 people

    Experience in ISO certificationsand / or knowledge of Minerals analysis

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    Good understanding of processapproach, ability to challenge and improve processes

  • Fluent in English
  • Able to provide excellent customerservice level

    Able to closely cooperate with SGSaffliate’s Minerals management

    Outstanding sense of organization,detail-oriented and meticulous
