Responsibilities :

This role is responsible forassisting with development and implementation of the Finance Global LocationStrategy for Manila, and will assist primarily with reporting over the programmanagement of initiatives and other business as usual activities.

The successfulindividual will assist and support the Finance Team across a variety oftasks.This key role will report directlyto the Team Leader for Global Reconciliations, Corporate Tax and ProgramOffice, based in Manila.

Leadership and Management

  • Provide input on the strategy,planning, organization, direction and control of the Financial Managementfunction;
  • Prepare project financials andother reporting on both individual initiatives, and the overall change program;
  • Drive and support change in theManila Finance team;
  • Establish and maintain strongworking relationships and open communication with key stakeholders; and,
  • Provide input on future changeinitiatives and projects for the Controller’s function.
  • Operational

  • Report and provide regular updateson the following :
  • Location Strategy changeinitiatives program
  • Business Process Transition &Risk Management
  • Location Strategy forecast
  • Manila Finance ManagementInformation Systems
  • Assist with the development ofproject plans, project tracking and reporting;
  • Assist with the location strategyinitiative and reporting; and,
  • Assist with other ad hocactivities.
  • Others

  • Partner with different businessand operational lines to ensure proper support is provided by Controllers asthe businesses expand, develop and grow.
  • This will include, but is not limitedto, the build out of new products, locations and systems;
  • Provide support to the ManilaFinance team as required, such as preparing Committee / Senior Managementpresentation decks, investigating issues and other ad hoc requests.
  • Qualifications :

  • Qualified accountant (preferable CPA / ACA / ACCA) with at least 3-5 years post-qualified experience in amulti-currency financial services environment is preferred;
  • Experience working on and / or leadingprojects and driving change throughout corporations would be advantageous;
  • Sound technical knowledge ofaccounting, reporting and financial control requirements, as well as statutoryand audit requirements in a corporate financial control environment; and,
  • Solid understanding of the dynamicand inter-relationships of people, systems and processes to provide insight toenable rapid, successful change.
  • Sharepoint / Power BI experiencedesirable
