The Team : The Customer Experience & Insight teams currently consists of four analysts providing customer, competitor and market insight as well as help the business drive changes based on the insight.
The team sits in the Marketing function but provide insight into all areas of the business.
The Impact : The insight the teams provide directly impact overall strategies in the business such as where to improve the customer experience, promoting new products, setting the price level of products, how we market and engage with our products etc.

Deploy analytics techniques that allow us to better understand competitors and market developments.
Bring data sets together in a cohesive way to enable blended insights
Design, develop and deploy reporting solutions to support key stakeholders in the business in understanding competitor positioning and changes in the market.
Develop and maintain CI radar competitor portal and provide monthly exec overview to business stakeholders that allow them to understand competitor and market developments in their area, and take action to improve it
Work closely with the Customer Champions group to ensure that they can convert these insights into practical actions that will benefit our customers
Support the business in anticipating and understanding new competitors, market development, changes to competitor propositions, company structure and customer experience through the creation of in-depth insight.
What We’re Looking For :
Demonstrable skills within research, analysis and interpretation of large data sets.
Able to setup, maintain, manipulate, and utilize many different datasets in several formats (i.e. SPSS, Excel, and ASCII).
Experience with analytics tools (SPSS, SAS etc.)
Strong numeracy essential, with an ability to interpret, analyse and present statistics in an interesting way.
Strong knowledge of preparing materials using Microsoft office package showing excellent attention to detail.
Organisational skills in order to structure workload in the most efficient way.
A confident manner and strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Taking ownership of research to ensure the highest possible quality of output.
Proven ability to network and build relationships externally and internally
Strong English language communication and presentation skills, verbal & written. Other language skills viewed as a plus.
Basic Qualifications :
University degree, or Msc preferably in a marketing related discipline
2-3 years of proven experience as a Market or Competitor Analyst or Data Scientist.
Preferred Qualifications :
Ability to work independently within a strategic framework, with supervision and guidance from senior team members, and demonstrating the flexibility to meet tight deadlines
Team oriented, with the ability to confidently establish relationships internally and externally within an international business environment
Self-starter with strong delivery ethos, detail orientated and first class organisational skills
