Job Description
The Graphic Artist will perform design / layout production requirements for print, web, and other graphic design related purposes delegated by the Team Leader / Business Unit.
Key Accountabilities :
Design / Editing
Develop creative concepts, which are based on the client’s or an account manager’s instruction brief
Work with a wide range of media, including photography, etc.
Iterate designs according to feedback
Research
Research and develop design concepts
Research on emerging technologies and concepts
Research on how to innovate and redefine processes so that project efficiency is attained
Client Relations
Communicate with the client to discuss business objectives and requirements
Pitch ideas to clients
Manage client relations and determine their present and future needs
Collaboration
Work with other designers, copywriters, photographers, web developers, account managers / business units, etc. to meet client needs
Project Management :
Estimate time required to complete the task
Oversee the production phase
Observe project deadlines and track progress
Minimum skills requirement to hire :
Basic qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferred
At least 1-2 years’ experience as a Graphic Artist / Designer. (Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply)
Knowledge of Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) preferred.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications / tool : Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Online Design Portfolio is required for submission and assessment.
