As an Account Representative for Global Sales Support, you will work in collaboration with our Sales and Planning teams to resolve supply gaps for our clients and product distributors worldwide.
You will perform a variety of tasks including backlog management, oversight of Vendor Managed Inventory programs, prepare reports as needed, provide updates to clients on production and shipment status, participate and host client conference calls to review supply chain issues, occasionally travel to Microchip Sales offices and customer sites to enhance client relationships.
Degree in Business, Math, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management
Minimum of five (5) years direct customer service experience specializing in providing support to clients in the area of supply chain management.
Must have adequate knowledge of the semiconductor industry.
Resourceful and persistent in solving problems in the best interest of Microchip and customers.
Highly proficient in analyzing data with excellent skills of Microsoft Office specifically Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Excellent organization skills with an effective time management.
Able to work well under pressure.
Should be able to prepare a variety of reports as needed.
Must be service oriented.
