The Test Lead develops and manages the overall Test Strategy and Plan, conducting overall execution of the prescribed End-

to-End (including Integrations), User Acceptance Testing ("UAT"), and Parallel test process for Payroll Interface from start to end of the test period.

  • The Test Lead is responsible for successfully managing defect resolutions; resolving test issues via coordination of the project teams as required to complete testing on tenant for successful completion of Workday test;
  • and the overall test strategy outlines, test approach, roles and responsibilities, test tools, scenarios by tester and success criteria for each of the test stages.

    The Test Lead may also support the Data Consultant from the Technology Implementation Partner with data validation activities associated with test and tenant development.

    ROLE REPORTS TO : Project Manager, Workday Financial Management and Human Capital Management (HCM)

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

    1.Develop and manage QA processes and implementing testing techniques and tools

    2.Deploy unit, regression, integration, system testing and user acceptance testing methodologies

    3.Establish and control activities to adhere to requirements (contract, functional, non-functional) and maintain requirements traceability matrices

    4.Guide business and testing team(s) in best practices and defined testing methodologies (i.e., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)

    5.Review and validate Test Cases, Test Scrips, Test Master Plan and Test Project Work Schedules to meet stated business needs

    6.Evaluate, review and implement recommendations for improvements to existing testing methodology procedures and documentation for efficient delivery of high-quality products

    7.Evaluate and define test entry and exit criteria for all testing types

    8.Assimilate, document and provide performance metrics and reports for testing activities

    9.Train and mentor stakeholders on testing methodology activities

    10.Facilitate effective project team meetings for all testing related topics

    EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION :

    1.Should have at least 8 years hands-on testing management experience in any large ERP products like Workday, Oracle, PeopleSoft or SAP Financial Management and HCM Products

    2.Comprehensive testing experience for Workday ERP system

    3.Expertise in developing / documenting testing strategies, including test plan development, schedule creation and QA reporting

    4.Extensive user acceptance testing experience

    5.Strong with API Integration testing

    6.Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills

    7.Problem solving and root cause identification skills

    8.Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization

    9.Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others

    10.Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations

    11.Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere

    12.Forward looking with a holistic approach
