Entity and activity description

Air Liquide Philippines, Inc. and its subsidiaries, a fully owned subsidiary of Air Liquide, started its operations in December 1994.

Currently with over 280 employees, Air Liquide in the Philippines operates Air Separation Units, Hydrogen Plants, Carbon Dioxide Plants, Cylinder Refilling Stations and Cylinder Depots, On-

site Plants and Pipeline Networks nationwide. Air Liquide Philippines is serving different markets and industries such as Electronics, Food, Pharmaceuticals, Steel, Automotive, Shipbuilding, and Healthcare.

Missions and Responsibilities

  • Effectively implement HSE / IMS procedures / policies and Environmental programs
  • Assist the Lead-Safety in the development, documentation and compliance requirements related to the effective implementation of HSE, procedures.
  • Monitor and implement closeout actions of occurrence reports related to safety incident / accident
  • Participate in the root cause analysis and risk assessment session.
  • Maintain and update HSEQ records
  • Attend to employees’ safety-related requests.
  • Assist Area Owners and Facility Manager in implementing effective use of safety meetings (toolbox meeting) in achieving zero accident objectives.
  • Facilitate safety awareness training (employees, customers and contractors) related to HSE.
  • Regularly implement and conduct safety inspection / site audit
  • Compose ALPI HSE documents
  • Act as liaison to Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Bureau of Fire Protection and other agencies governing HSE
  • Competencies and Profile

  • Graduate of technical or engineering course
  • With experience in manufacturing plant
  • Having certification in BOSHC / DOLE is a plus
