DESCRIPTIONThe position calls for an individual who will be the first point of contact for the company at the reception area.
The individual will also provide administrative support to the team at LINK. In essence, as a key member of the LINK team, the candidate is the face of the company.
The candidate will handle the flow of people through the business and ensure all administration tasks are completed accurately, delivered with high quality, and in a timely manner.
Genuine potential growth within the company awaits the successful applicant.ResponsibilitiesGreeting visitors, directing and announcing them appropriatelyAnswer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when neededHandle filing and maintain simple accounting recordsMaintain security by following procedures and controlling access (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges, locking main doors, etc.
Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings / appointmentsPerform other administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing, etc.
Order and maintain supplies this includes stationary / office supplies and cateringOther duties as assignedREQUIREMENTSAt least 2 years of college or proven work-related experience in similar rolesConversational English abilities preferred, with a good command of communication skills (written and verbal)High level of accuracy and attention to detail including spelling and grammarProficient with MS Office applicationsProfessional, tidy, smart appearanceAbility to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may ariseAbility to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
