We are looking for a Director of Growth to join our Client's fast-growing company. The Director of Growth will ultimately be responsible for revenue performance and optimization efforts across the revenue lifecycle, defining and executing strategies to grow the business, leading the Marketing Team from the front while keeping an eye on strategy and ways to improve, working directly alongside the CEO, as a key member of the leadership team, and driving growth through customer acquisition, retention marketing and brand awareness.

Manage all aspects of all marketing programs including search, social, referral, email, SMS and offline media. This includes overseeing the budget, account flighting and day-to-day optimization of these channels, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google Adwords, Display (among others).
Partner with founders to create a strategic vision for all types of marketing and ensure robust, integrated, and flawless execution of the mission and vision.
Define, measure and analyze critical KPI’s for the marketing acquisition team. Create dashboards to demonstrate progress against those KPI’s and communicate effectively the results and any actions associated with those results to key stakeholders throughout the Company.
Report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to the leadership team including detailed campaign performance. Identify and propose opportunities to optimize customer acquisition, referral, loyalty and affiliate programs.
Analyze site metrics and sales information to identify opportunities to increase sales and site conversion.
Conceptualize and develop creatives to constantly optimize campaigns.
Cost per action (CPA) / Customer acquisition cost (CAC) optimization.
Work with Product and Customer Success teams to incorporate customer feedback and returns data and use this data to make long-term improvements with the goal of increasing LTV.
Work cross-functionally with development, design, data / analytics and editorial to optimize ads, email capture, and landing pages.
Identify and execute on opportunities to increase sales and site conversion, while creating a culture of structured experimentation and iteration to drive growth.
Own creation and analysis of cohorts and analysis.
Lead by example - hire talented marketing individuals who are results-oriented, data-obsessed, brand enthusiasts who complement your skills.
Be a thought leader for the organization to push the envelope in an evolving digital content consumption landscape. Have a strong pulse on relevant trends, consumer insights, and technologies that impact our industry and the way customers consume content.
Creating and implementing the marketing plan in line with overall business objectives while striking a balance between longer-term strategic brand building activities, mid-term lead generation and nurturing, as well as quick wins to achieve targets
Ensuring consistent messaging that is aligned with the brand.
Building win-win relationships with new and existing partners.
Manage the marketing budget to drive sustainable bottom-line growth.
BA or BS required, MBA preferred
10+ years in an early-stage growth senior marketing role, including at least 3 years in an e-commerce, direct-to-consumer role.
Experience working across the full DTC marketing funnel (customer acquisition, conversion and engagement) and across the marketing mix (including online and offline channels).
Experience in subscription services
Experience in health / wellness-related industries is a plus.
Demonstrates strong thought leadership, decision making, and influencing skills.
Expert in all things Google Analytics! You have a critical understanding of the levers and tools to use in GA to help assess, define and optimize to your strategic marketing plan.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze data, generate reports and organize large pieces of data.
Deep knowledge of attribution models and media mix marketing
Experience managing ad budgets upwards of 6 figures, in order to manage our external ads team
Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
Possesses strong analytical skills and is comfortable dealing with numerical data.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Adept at building relationships and liaising with multiple stakeholders and thrive in matrix environments.
Experience with media buying for Podcasts, Spotify, Pandora, Pinterest and a range of other social platforms as well as on programmatic platforms like DoubleClick, Quantcast, ShareASale or other affiliate networks
Deep knowledge of how to use digital & offline channels and tools to drive new customer acquisition, build a brand, customer base, and community-driven content
