Provides both technical and functional support with deep expertise related to a particular business function or specific set of Infor products and other third party application software.

Provides leadership and support to other IT Support Engineers and Associate Engineers.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and / or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of previous technical support experience.
  • Ability to consistently perform in a high pressure, deadline global oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and, change work direction and priorities effectively as required.
  • Skilled in program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation
  • Quickly learns and applies new technical skills, processes, methodologies.
  • Plans for technical dependencies, provides appropriately timed task estimates, and tracks progress toward goals.
  • Translates technical functionality into practical business deliverables.
  • Communicates effectively with a broad audience from technicians to business clients.
  • 7+ years working in information technology
  • 5+ years in application support role

  • Provides leadership to junior support engineers
  • Provides team mentoring and leadership, contributing to a positive team.
  • Experience with follow-the-sun support.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for multiple applications (root cause analysis)
  • Technical expert in one or more highly specialized areas of applications systems analysis and programming
  • Create Business Requirements Documentation to enhance existing functionality and follow up with IT development and IT Project Management department.
  • Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written
  • Capable of designing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting application changes within area of expertise
  • Operates within the confines of (project) change management related to application expertise
  • Monitors and maintains applications for optimal performance.
  • Competent to work on most phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities, but requires instruction and guidance in other phases.
  • Applies problem solving abilities to both familiar and unfamiliar technical issues
  • Act as a project team member
  • Provides subject matter expertise and works with Project Management and IT development teams to related to design specifications and problems resolution
  • Provides technical expertise for development and integration projects.
  • Participating in migration projects (developing interfaces to upload data master data backend).
  • Participating in decommission of applications
  • Provide complex ad-hoc reports
  • Design and programming of Support Tools for internal support used to reduce backend updates (audit compliant).
  • Log support calls and follow up with vendor (Infor / 3thrd party)
