Asa Senior Communications Coordinator, you’ll be working within the TalentAcquisition (TA) Employer Brand & Social Media team, helping attract global talent for WesternUnion.
Using your experience and creativity you’ll help promote a positivebrand perception through marketing- and communications-
related activities and encourageengagement with current and potential candidates. As you research our company,some of the content you see is within your scope.
You will build effectivepartner relationships with stakeholders, teammates, senior leaders, and others,e.g., marketing, social media, HR, legal, creative agencies, etc.
You will honeyour skills as a communications professional, develop tactics that will supportthe overall TA strategies, and deepen your knowledge of our innovative brandingto ensure all campaign and recruitment content is well-
written, on brand, andon message. In turn, you’ll gain an understanding of how what you do isimperative to the world of recruitment.
You will likelyhave a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or relatedfield with two-four years’ experience.
You will demonstrate capabilities in how to write effectively, helping to buildan overall employer value proposition and attract talent.
You will be energeticand creative with exceptional written skills and the utmost attention todetail. It is imperative you can work individually, or in collaboration withothers, in a fast-
paced environment, dealing with ambiguity, making quickdecisions, and managing tight timelines. Working knowledge of social media as acommunications channel and experience writing for global, multi-
culturalcompany are strong bonuses.
