Overview / Responsibilities
Wood has been awarded the Asset Management Services Contract, to deliver the full scopes of maintenance services and projects execution for the Malampaya Project, one of the most significant energy investments in the history of the Philippines.
The Malampaya facilities are situated at offshore Palawan, onshore gas plant in Batangas and our office is at Northgate Cyberzone, Filinvest City, Muntinlupa City.
We are currently hiring for Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the incumbent SPEX Mechanical Static engineer for 1 year, with scopes including, but not limited to the below enumerated;
Overview / Responsibilities
Engineering calculation and design
Design verification and assurance reviews
Equipment sizing and preparation of equipment datasheets and specifications
Preparation of technical requisition sheets including daily control and assurance plan requirements
Review and approval of vendor engineering documents and proposals
Engineering review, studies and analysis
Quality control and assurance of interdisciplinary deliverables
3D modelling and administration
Risk Mitigation Services and Studies such as HAZOP, QRA, LOPA, HAZID, Dispersion Analysis
Site Engineering Surveys to verify Company site conditions, and site execution constraints
Preparation and verification of Material take offs (MTO), Bill of Quantities for bulks and engineered equipment
Field Engineering assistance during construction and implementation phase
Resolution of Site Technical queries raised during construction phase
Computer Aided design, drafting services such as plot plans, isometric and general arrangement, piping and instrumentation diagrams, electrical single line diagrams drawings which includes the preparation and submission of native files and hardcopies upon completion of a work package
Updates to Company PDMS models
Identify and incorporate, with enough time upfront, when constructability inputs are required during the initial phases of design from Company's Asset Management Services Contractor (AMSC).
Clean-up and reconciliation of legacy inspection reports, focusing on retrieval, consolidation and integration of recertification records of Pressure Safety Valves into relevant management systems by coordination with the AMSC focal point for 72RE Work Orders, AMSC subcontractors, review of current and potential repositories of missing and / or unrecorded certification reports.
Closeout of MISI and RBI (Risk Based Inspection) review recommendations, and ensuring these recommendations are integrated into the Inspection Data Management System.
Initiate and monitor the creation of changes in compliance with SPEX's Management of Change Procedure and coordinated with other work processes as necessary.
Legacy Temporary Repair EMOCs administrative support - ensure temp repairs are documented and executed according to MOC procedure, monitor expiring e-MOCs and coordinate with WPEs, until closeout.
Skills / Qualifications
Knowledge in Inspection Engineering, RBI methodology, NDT methods. Certified Inspector if available.
Experience in the use of Inspection Data Management Systems, Maintenance Management Systems
Technical report writing
Degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent
