About the Role :
Responsible for broad-based operational leadership and support of company’s technology infrastructure including local area network (LAN), servers, applications, storage area networks and virtualization and cloud infrastructure.
Support includes implementation, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and vendor services in support of internal and external customers.
This role will build, configure and install systems for high availability and ease of management, manage enterprise Linux and Windows servers, as well as virtualization environments based on Linux, Windows, VMWare, AWS and OCI.
Key Technical Knowledge :
Linux (CentOS, Redhat, Oracle, Debian)
Windows (Server 2003-current)
Infrastructure orchestration and management tools (Puppet, Saltstack)
Virtualization : VMWare, Xen (CentOS, Redhat, Oracle), HyperV (Windows)
Cloud provider experience (AWS, OCI)
Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, bash, python, and PowerShell
Active Directory Design, Implementation and Management including GPO
SAN Configuration Management (Dell EqualLogics, Dell Compellent, Nimble, LeftHand)
Anti-virus / Anti-malware (Sophos)
Internet Protocols / Services (DNS, SMTP, POP, IMAP, ICMP)
Database systems (Oracle, MSSQL, mySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, mongoDB)
Monitoring (Zabbix, Nagios)
Web (Apache, IIS, Nginx)

Responsibilities and Duties :
Infrastructure management including networks, OS, security, Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, Virtualization, Storage and Security
Infrastructure operations for datacenter and office environments
Network architecture, configuration, and management of switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access ports, etc (Fortinet, Cisco)
Focused attention to customer service standards
Plan and implement installations, system upgrades, maintenance fixes, and patches
Monitor and test system performance and provide performance statistics
Develop and maintain infrastructure design and support documentation
Identify and isolate issues providing thorough root cause analysis and corrective action planning
Monitor IT infrastructure and proactively recommend systems upgrades
Monitors networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
Develop scripts to enhance provisioning and management efficiency
Perform system access auditing and reviews
Performs other duties as may be required in the organization
Education and Experience :
Bachelor's degree from four-year or five-year college or university
Five years related experience
