Reporting to the Great Britain & Ireland Operations Director, the Quality Manager will be responsible for leading the effective deployment and development of the Quality Pillar (TQM) across all current and future sites.
You will be charged with key strategic deliverables include delivering market leading quality of products and service to company’s customer base and reducing the overall cost of quality, at each site through driving continuous improvement in all of the Key Performance Indicators.
The Quality Manager will also ensure that all stakeholders have clear line of sight to quality vision and objectives. The Quality Manager, together with his / her Quality Team will generate positive manufacturing variances, by ensuring timely and effective deployment of PDCA, 5M and other quality methodologies.
You will also mentor, be inspirational and develop quality teams on our sites to ensure effectiveness of the quality function and develop a culture of internal Customers.
You will also need to possess :
A degree in Engineering, Science or Quality
Lean, Six Sigma or other WCM Qualification
Demonstrated a track record of delivering significant efficiency, quality improvements
Experience in deployment of World Class Manufacturing systems, Lean, Six Sigma
Minimum of 3 years successful people management experience in fast paced manufacturing environment
Understanding of MRP systems, BOM control, labour routings and product costing
You will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to deliver change and drive continuous improvement on own initiative. You will be a high energy, self-starter with ability to motivate your Team & possess well developed people management skills.
