Duties and Responsibilities :
Source, negotiate and implement contract and framework / Group deal agreements which results in higher spend efficiencies of the banners in relation to their financial and forecasting requirements.
Maintain auditable records of all procurement process which results in high process compliance.
Plan and engage country and banner IT Heads and representatives to understand their requirement specifications and with vendors to develop a profile of delivery capability which results in effective market and stakeholder engagement.
Build into contract and framework agreements, DFG's sustainable procurement obligations and preferences including assurance of procurement authority level adherence which results in stakeholder satisfaction of procurement services.
Business Process :
Conduct efficient and collaborative procurements which are both best practices and corporate-policy compliant (sourcing, alternative sourcing, procurement advice, tendering / bidding, evaluation, award and contract management), which results in spend efficiency, cost savings, cost avoidance and audit compliance.
Build vendor, category and market understanding through performance management, research and stakeholder briefings which results in seamless collaboration among end-
user, procurement and vendor, better management of commercial and technical issues throughout the commissioning and procurement cycle.
Learning and Development :
Prepare timely and accurate management information covering aspects of stakeholder and vendor engagement in the procurement lifecycle which results in effective performance management and delivery of required outcomes (Governance)
Actively engage in continuous professional development
Position Requirements :
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's / College Degree , Economics, Engineering (Industrial), Business Studies / Administration / Management, Commerce or equivalent.
At least 5 years inÂ purchasing and / or procurement
Certification in Supply Management and / or Strategic SourcingÂ preferred.
Work knowledge on Office Support Systems such asÂ SAP
Good knowledge and understanding in procurement best practices and contract management.
Recent proven experience in a procurement function involved in high risk, high value, complex work in the field service and maintenance procurement
Knowledge onÂ Information Technology tools and / or devicesÂ a definite advantage.
Experience in preparing, reviewing and agreeing technical terms and conditions and commercial schedules
Experience in contract / purchase order management and administration.Â
With experience onÂ strategic sourcingÂ andÂ global procurement.Â
Good interpersonal, verbal, and written English communication skills.
