Effectively manage Operational projects within time and under budget & support efficient and effective administration activities with accurate and timely reports.

ACCOUNTABILITIES : Other departments

Other departments

  • Provide input or expertise for cross-functional and regional projects as required.
  • Provide technical support or expertise in various area such as projects & facility management
  • Plan and organize Operations requirements in a cost effective manner
  • Procurement department

  • Liaise with procurement & vendors for sourcing & management.
  • Vendors and Suppliers

  • Review suppliers activities and professional negotiations with vendors / contractors.
  • External parties

  • Develop and maintain good relationship with all external parties to ensure that DHL receives preferred treatment and enhance the unit cost position.
  • PROCESS :

    Projects & Property Administration

  • Provide an efficient administration structure.
  • Provide and maintain suitable operational and office facilities in compliance with local statutory requirements in a cost effective manner.
  • Manage property and other leasing agreements.
  • Administration Reports

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of administration reports and relevant analysis, interpretation, evaluation and recommendation of appropriate strategies.
  • Internal Controls

  • Plan, organise and maintain cost effective internal control systems, processes and policies.
  • Work with cross functional teams to improve administration practices, procedures, processes and policies.
  • Process invoices in line with country account payment policy to ensure the maintenance of effective partnerships
  • Manage supplies and RFQs and to enhance both the business cost position and the quality of purchases.
  • PEOPLE MANAGEMENT :

  • Develop a high performance service culture within the functional department.
  • Plan, organize and direct and efficient and effective functional department.
  • Develop IKOs / KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.
  • Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of Global, Regional and Country objectives and targets.
  • Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department.
  • YOUR PROFILE :

  • Ability to work with subordinates and senior management.
  • Communication skills (English), spoken and written (excellent).
  • Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Project management skills.
  • At least 3 years managerial experience, preferably in a medium to large organisation.
  • Diploma / Degree in Administration / Property Management or equivalent (preferable).
