What’s on the menu for you to do :
Improve the business performance of foodpanda by monitoring the compliance of foodpanda’s marketplace’s vendors located all over the Philippines
Track the fail rate / lost of orders due to vendor noncompliance (Own delivery (OD) & Market place (Vendor delivery (VD) + Pick Up)
Assess the main reasons of the fails of orders due to vendor related issues (product unavailable, restaurant not reachable, offline) with the help of data & offline visits to vendors
Roll out initiatives to tackle the vendors with consistent high fail rates with help of account managers (weekly reports to vendors, additional training to vendors usage of tablet / increase visibility of tablet, additional equipment to vendors for higher acceptance rate, removing items from the menu, suspending the vendor temporary / reducing vendor polygons, product improvements like additional push notifications, updating phone number of vendors) starting with the worst high-volume offenders
Improve logistics performance of foodpanda by monitoring the compliance of foodpanda’s marketplace’s vendors located all over the Philippines
Reduce the estimated prep times of vendors by A / B testing on the back end to decrease overall delivery times (without increasing the vendor delays) this through a strategic approach and data analytics (spot trends)
Track the vendor / delays & assess the impact of the delays on the delivery time of logistics
Roll out initiatives to tackle vendors with consistent delays with help of account managers (additional training, product improvements pausing vendor after repeated delays / push notifications, contractual clauses) starting with worst high-volume offenders
Work closely together with marketing & account managers to reduce the amount of vendor promotion campaigns leading to high vendor fail rates & high vendor delays
Monitor fraud committed by vendors (abuse of voucher codes, fraudulent cancellations pick up orders)

What do you bring to the table?
Bachelor’s / Master degree in Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering or any other quantitative similar field from top global universities
At least 2 years of work experience in an analytical environment, Management consultancy, IB, tech startup
Strong interpersonal skills and reliability
Strong analytical skills and number-driven
Has the ability to see trends and transform them to meaningful insights
Open minded and eager to learn even the most minimal detail of the business
Willing to question the status quo when necessary
