This position is primarily responsible for thesales of products derived from the copra crushing business, merchandising veg oilproducts from Malaysia, leading the marketing process and liaising with theFRM group on the credit risk management.
Handle sales for CNO and CXP.
Coordinate with Trade Execution for the deliveryand pick up schedules, particularly those of FOB buyers.
Work closely with the Plant for any off-specissues, loading / unloading concerns and documentation matters raised by thebuyers and to arrive at resolutions as part of process / quality improvement.
Developing new markets.
Executing the marketing programs : Customer Hierarchyand the Account Plans for Key and Strategic Customers every start of fiscalyear.
Customer Value Measurement Survey, compilationof results and brainstorming for action items with the Account Managers.
Logging of all customer complaints in the SQIfile. Monitor actions taken / to be takenby the account managers.
Provide promotional and marketing presentations / paraphernaliaas needed.
Back up the copra origination manager in coprapurchasing.
Strategize according to the game plan.
Disseminate necessary market information to thearea managers.
Provide a summary of copra trades concluded inall stations and a narrative of price competition and notable activities that transpiredduring the day.
Understand the copra SND.
Understand the different SNDs : local edible andcopra.
Be aware of the local market movement to be ableto give inputs to the SND.
Coordinate with Accounting and Finance for thetimely payments of all invoices
Work with the credit risk management team toidentify and implement process improvement initiatives to eliminate overdue accounts
University Degree in Agriculture, Economics,Business, Sales and Marketing or related fields
Excellent verbal and written communicationskills
Strong analytical skills and ability totranslate SND readings into executable commercial actions
Knowledgeable on macro and local economic trends
Process honoring & ability to resolveconflicts
At least two years of experience in commodity training
