Business Process Engineer is responsible for business process development and improvement through the use of lean six sigma tools and concepts. He will drive, lead, and reinforce innovative initiatives, such as Kaizen, Quality Circle, Transformational, and Six Sigma. Coaching and training of Six Sigma Greenbelts will also be a main function of the BPE.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with process owners to establish project objectives, scope, schedule and cost.
Present to management and ensure that goals, timelines, resources and other information are well relayed and communicated.
Ensure that project objectives, scope, timeline, and budget are attained.
Timely updates to stakeholders for project status reports; completion of tasks, assessed risk, encountered issues, and proposed workarounds.
Process Analysis and Design
Gather data and document existing processes
Analyze, Design/Develop, and Present processes
Identify customer requirements to specify process value based on customer perspective
Gather data and develop high-level, detailed and/or other appropriate process maps to understand tasks, steps and controls required for processes being developed or analyzed
Analyze processes, identifying effective practices worth replicating in other units, as well as problematic areas
Conduct root cause analysis on problems identified using tools and techniques to arrive at the most probable cause
Plan, develop, and test solution alternatives to address the root cause
Document current processes and identify potential areas for improvement, incorporating relevant best practices and automation opportunities, to eliminate all categories of waste or non-value adding activities
Document to-be processes and develop forms, reports, job aids or tools to ensure smooth transition to new processes
Develop appropriate metrics to measure effectiveness of processes being developed or reengineered
Recommend and seek proper management approval on resulting findings and proposed changes
Route process documentation and recommendations for sign-off
Conduct or participate in training/cascading of new processes to other relevant areas within the company
Plan transition to new design and collaborate with process owner for full roll-out, implementation, maintenance and control.
Assist process owners in performing the new processes ensuring that any problems encountered with the new process are immediately addressed.
Monitor rolled-out projects by conducting systems evaluation and reviewing monitoring schedules to ensure that the approved systems are implemented, and targets and deliverables are achieved.

Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Accountancy or any equivalent course.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1 – 2 years related work experience
Preferably with Lean Six Sigma Certification
