Power Integrations is hiring an AMS IC Design Verification Manager. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual in the field of power electronics to join our dynamic engineering team.
As an AMS IC Design Verification Manager, you will lead a team of IC Design Verification Engineers. You will work on multiple projects.
Your responsibilities will involve taking part in and driving the following activities :
Leading and managing a team of verification engineers to execute pre-silicon verification of mixed-signal ICs.
Work with Analog Design team to develop verification plan
Work with Analog Design team in setting up AMS simulation environment
Plan and execute Spectre simulations over PVT corners to ensure datasheet compliance
Plan and develop appropriate assertions to enforce analog / digital specs are respected
Leading the verification team in perform block level and Chip level AMS and spice simulations
Organise, plan and implement mixed-signal test-benches to apply stimulus and checks to verify DUT behavior
Plan and develop RNM Analog / Mixed Signal models in System Verilog.
Organise and achieve required model accuracy level depending on verification goals.
Continuous improvement in the verification methodology
Key Qualifications
Good supervisory skill.
At least 10 years of experience design verification of analog and mixed-signal circuits and a minimum of 5 years managing a team of verification engineers
Strong fundamentals in analog / mixed signal circuit concepts / topologies.
Working knowledge in RNM coding in SystemVerilog.
Experience working with Cadence mixed signal verification environment.
Ability to read analog schematics and extract related main functionality.
Experience in modeling Analog / Mixed signal blocks including biasing networks, power regulators, bandgaps, OpAmps, OTA’s, comparators, Data Converters, Mixers, multiplexers, Switches, etc
Experience modeling power converters is desired.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Education
Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Coursework emphasis on the design of analog / mixed signal circuits and systems
