The Macquarie Group Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Macquarie Group. We provide support to hundreds of community organisations globally each year through financial support, volunteering and skills sharing.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to continue to engage our employees across Asia in staff programs, working with existing and new grant partners as well as employee-supported NGOs.
Reporting to the Regional Head of the Foundation you will join a team that supports delivery of Foundation programs and activities across Asia, where Macquarie has 13 offices and more than 3500 staff.
This will include responding to enquiries about Macquarie's philanthropic approach, assisting Macquarie staff within the region in their community engagement initiatives, and coordinating campaigns and events
You’ll help deliver centrally coordinated regional and global programs while providing active guidance and assistance for Macquarie staff in their own community engagement initiatives.
liaising with local leadership; and managing skills-based volunteering initiatives and internship programs.
and engage in internal and external Macquarie Group Foundation representation when required. You will also support the wider Foundation team, with administering of databases, expense management, funding agreements, document control and diary management.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate interest and experience in the non-profit sector. You will be a team player who can lead and influence stakeholders at varying levels, internally and externally, with a customer service mindset to response to requests in a timely and professional manner.
You’ll be a proactive self-starter with a willingness to undertake a wide range of tasks, with strong administrative and organisational skills, and experience across MS Office programs.
You will have experience of managing projects against agreed timelines and deliverables, experience and ease with public speaking and internal communications experience.
You’ll need strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, demonstrated cultural sensitivity and awareness, and ideally, experience working with people across Asia.
You will also demonstrate the ability to work in a small, remote, team environment with competing pressures, a meticulous eye for detail and willingness to work outside of normal business hours if necessary.
