Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage daily operations of the team such as :
  • planning and scheduling of the team’s activities
  • assure and optimize team utilization
  • anticipate and address potential issues before they are encountered
  • monitoring of the team member’s performance
  • Provide technical and non-technical support and guidance to the team in the form of assistance in resolving issues and / or mentoring / coaching.
  • Effectively communicates status of projects and / or operations to the leadership team and clients.
  • Help in growth of the team through resource management (acquisition and allocation).
  • Work closely with Filipino & Japanese counterparts and managers.
  • Responsible in Project resource management that shows ability to handle complex / sensitive issues.
  • Responsible for the quality, cost and delivery.
  • Execute mutually agreed plan for the benefit of the customer.
  • Manage 10 people or more.
  • SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • More than 8 years of relevant experience or as required by client.
  • With Software Development, Project & People Management experience.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organizaton.
  • Leadership and organisational skills.
  • Customer centric; familiar with Japan business culture.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and resources.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and scope.
  • Capable of making timely decisions despite complexity, ambiguity and potentially adverse consequences.
  • Preferably with Nihongo background.
