Position Summary :
Actively participate in development and execution of marketing strategies for product lines for FOOD. Focus would be on beverage and or bakery industry (but not limited to).
Aim at achieving dynamic sales and profit objectives for the department, market shares for the principals, thereby contributing to the overall growth of the company.
Role Responsibilities :
Plan and strategize the acquisition of new market segments to seize opportunities and strengthen the Company’s market positioning
Develop new customers and business including identify and initiate contact with potential clients to broaden the client base upon assigned principal.
Continuously expand the customer base, year-on-year, through new customer acquisition
Proactively investigate and regularly update customer needs, market trends, and new products / or solutions launched by competitors to the Department Manager to initiate counter strategies
Conduct regular visits to customers, provide technical support and commercial support, and update innovated solutions. Attend to customers’ complaints and enquiries with professionalism and integrity
Prepare annual Sales, profits forecast, and projection to Department Manager. Submit periodic sales reports including activities plan with the most updated order closing date to Department Manager
Prepare product costing and to work out quotation for customers. Coordinate with Customer Service, Logistics, and related parties to ensure smooth and continuous improvement of ordering process, and delivery services to meet and surpass customer expectations
With at least 5 years sales and / or technical experience in selling ingredients in the food industry (Beverage and or Bakery).
Preferably with experience in selling functional ingredients and commodities.
Preferably coming from Industries that are into trading and distribution of raw materials for FOOD (Beverage and or Bakery)
Candidates from the principals or suppliers from the food raw ingredients are also welcome.
Have good connections with Key Contact Persons from local companies from the beverage and or bakaery industry both Major and Medium scale industry players
Capable of building strategies to source out and expand supplier portfolio for the (but not limited to) Beverage and or Bakery segment
Preferably with working experience from a company with regional set up
Knowledgeable with CRM / C4C related applications.
Preferably with own vehicle
Graduate of B.S. Food Technology, B.S. Chem. Engineering or any Science related course is an advantage / preferred
