Job description
PLANNING & SCHEDULING
Implements strategies on starts, loading / line set-up and projection plan in reference to CCRP, customer demand, material / dice / wafer supply and capacity / bottleneck station and equipment complexities in order to optimize factory resources and meet customer delivery requirements and plant financial targets.
Performs work order reservation via Manufacturing Integration Demand & Availability System (MIDAS)
Reviews planning tools daily (Qlikview & DSM report in i2) to facilitate optimum starts / loading generation.
Refers to planning tools and systems (Qlikview, MIDAS, i2, PTM Reports,FW2, SAP and CLS) to facilitate smooth execution of methods and processes
PRODUCTION CONTROL
Monitors the execution of the production plan in accordance with starts, loading and delivery including Critical Product priorities
Provides recovery plans for potential and missed deliveries
Tracks and maintains work in process (WIP) level and lot movement in all areas of production with reference to defined Days of Inventory (DOI) targets
Follows up all WIP movement particularly for critical products and priorities
COMMUNICATION / COORDINATION
Escalates delivery issues that need immediate attention both to superior and to all stakeholders
Coordinates with other section / department in order to align production plan, commitments and resolves concerns
Attends and participates in daily manufacturing operations meetings to discuss updates, issues and concerns and consults superior on related matters
Facilitates and participates in the weekly starts planning
Provides information for any deviation to demonstrated line capacity (DLC)
Communicate internally (all stakeholders) and externally (Division counterparts and BEM&T) delivery commitment and performance
REPORTS
Generates reports like, but not limited to, Performance Report, KPI Reports, critical delivery status and specific product delivery reports
Provides summary and analysis of missed targets on key performance indices such as CLIP, SML, DOI, Product delivery, Cycle Time and delinquency (to name a few).
Provides Weekly and Monthly Delivery plan to stakeholders
PROJECT / PROGRAM INVOLVEMENT (As needed)
Leads and participates in improvement programs
Leads / participates on plant-wide programs such as WIP cycle count
Gives input on development and enhancement of planning tools
Profile
The successful candidate must possess below Qualifications :
With a degree in Industrial Engineering / Business and / or Supply Chain Management / related courses
With a minimum of three (3) years experience handling related tasks in a similar environment
Must have very good interpersonal and strong leadership skill
Must be detail-oriented
Must be analytical and organized
Must have good oral and written communication skills
Must be able to understand and use the planning tools and systems (Qlikview, MIDAS, i2, FW2, SAP, CLS)
Must be proficient in MS Excel and can work on production control systems and standard office automation tools (MS Office)
Knowledgeable on capacity and materials planning process and forecasting
