As a Claims Admin Assistant, you are responsible in ensuring that all employment and personal information of employees are kept and handled in accordance with existing company policies on Information Security and Date Privacy.
As a Claims Admin Assistant, you are also responsible in reviewing and entering new claims and request for supporting documentation for claims disputes.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE
â¢ Initial reviews claims entered by Customers and the campaign's employees
â¢ Assigns claims to Claims Specialists, as directed
â¢ Reviews documents filed with new claims and determines whether additional supporting documents are needed
â¢ Requests supporting documents from Customers
â¢ Promptly processes or redirects documents which are sent to the campaign's email address.
â¢ Calculates vendor maximum liabilities
websites, Google.com sites (FAK liability info), own email box
â¢ Updates and distributes weekly report (BOLs marked incorrectly)
â¢ Assists Claims Specialists, as needed (including / but not limited to : filing claims with carriers, attaching to ACT files decision letters and approved settlement requests)
â¢ Retrieves documents, then resaves and attaches to appropriate ACT / CMS claim file (supporting documents from Customers, CS BOLs, CS Order Details, checks)
â¢ Sends daily report for incoming claims, recovery checks and documents
â¢ Pull up unassigned claims for review and possible reassignment.
â¢ Updates and post claim rules by customer for special instructions
â¢ Updates and posts documents to SharePoint (claims meeting recaps, new procedures,updated contact lists)
