Summary of Role / Position

The Pricing Analyst I reports to a D&C Manager and works with complex data sets to help CarParts.com determine and set competitive pricing to gain market share and achieve revenue goals.

He / She proactively works with the Online Marketplace Team in researching and comparing listings in Online Marketplaces to come up with a precise pricing data which will be used in competitive pricing analysis and to identify new selling opportunities.

YOU WILL :

Assess data from a variety of sources and use it to derive insights into pricing strategies and market trends,

e.g. product descriptions, images and references

Identify top selling listings and propose new product opportunities

Coordinate catalog update and improvements for a reliable data source

Deliver expected numbers of good quality output per week

Deliver task and special projects on a weekly basis

Develop quality initiatives as the need arises.

you MUST HAVE :

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or Marketing courses

Proficiency in MS Excel and Knowledgeable in other MS Office programs

Fast learner and has strong attention to details and can deliver quality results

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Automotive and Online Marketplace Knowledge (eBay, Amazon E-commerce)

Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a team or with minimum supervision

Analytical thinking

Team collaboration

Financial forecasting

Problem solving skills

Good communication skills
