Job Responsibilities :

Research, assess and advise companies on Corporate Governance and Environmental Social Governance (ESG) strategy and exposure items, as they relate to reporting standards, regulations, peer practices, company strategy, and investor standards

Collect governance-related data from a wide variety of sources to support investors and issuers in assessing exposure to reputational, financial, operational, and legal risks

Research a wide range of corporate governance and executive compensation matters

Write research reports and trends analysis for clients and corporate issuers

Collaborate with other research analysts to build and maintain Corporate Governance and ESG database

Work on various corporate governance projects, including, but not limited to, share request modeling, pay ratio calculation and analysis, and dilution and run rate equity benchmarking

Assist with client management through industry / company or technical research and through frequent positive interactions with client representatives

Contribute to ultimate client results by managing and checking own work product and work product of others

Assist in training and onboarding new hires and in various ad-hoc projects

Suggested Skills and Experience :

  • 1 to 5 years of work experience in Corporate Governance research and consulting
  • Familiarity with ESG and proxy advisory guidelines is preferred
  • Prior experience in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or Sustainability is a definite advantage
  • Excellent communication skills and strong research, analytical and critical thinking skills are highly preferred
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills; must be able to identify problems and solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields (Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, and Social Sciences) is preferred but not required.
