Job Overview :
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be part of the Global Recruitment Center, a shared services team based in Makati that provides recruitment and administrative support to the company’s global Talent Acquisition group.
This position is responsible for executing recruitment activities, responsible for hiring across various locations and sourcing of quality candidates in line with company core values.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities :
Reporting to Talent Acquisition Manager
Ensure McDermott core values are met
Drive equal opportunity and diversity values
Provide support to all business levels and across McDermott functions in terms of recruitment requirements as per company structure positions
Liaise with agencies for short-term hires
Liaise with HR Operations to align functional work requisitions and requirements as per McDermott structure and contractual obligations for internal and external hires
Raise work requisitions into the recruitment system and obtain proper approvals (including monitoring and maintaining global approval process), upload candidates and update the position / candidate status as it progresses
Search, screen and propose candidates as per approved work requisitions for existing and anticipated projects, pipeline candidates
Contact candidates, arrange interviews, send interview invitations and collect interview feedback once done
Finalize hire selection requests, collect interview evaluations and prepare candidate profiles to handover for HR Operations offer and mobilization
Prepare weekly / monthly reports update progress of reports related to recruiting
Arrange meetings with functional leads on regular basis
Arrange, organize and attend walk in recruitment events
Handle recruitment administration activities to complete the hiring processes
Align with other HR functions such as Government relations, Talent Management and HR Operations to ensure requirements and targets are met
Utilize recruitment tools such as LinkedIn, Bayt, Naukrigulf, email, referrals and McDermott website for sourcing candidates
Provide support craft hires
Participate and provide input to local and global projects
Handle other recruitment-related projects / tasks that may be required as per need of the department from time to time.
Essential Qualifications and Education :
Excellent verbal and written English language skills
3 to 6 Years of experience in Recruiting, staff onboarding and offer negotiation, preferably in Oil & Gas Industry, EPC Contractor
Above average MS Office Suit skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Amenable to shifting work schedule
