The start of this decade has delivered LawAdvisor with a new mandate : to overhaul and transform how lawyers work, and how people interact with and consume legal services, with state of the art legal practice management technology in order to (i) increase efficiencies;
  • ii) automate routine processes; (iii) increase transparency; (iv) bring the legal practice to the 21st century.

    We Need

    An air traffic controller

    As our Associate Delivery Manager, you'll use your interpersonal and organisational skills to help bring calm to the creative chaos that is product development.

    You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and you will be learning on the job. You will shadow and provide support to our Product Managers, as well as oversee the deployment of our products, coordinating all parties involved to ensure a smooth process with minimal disruption.

    Most importantly, you are an excellent listener who is deeply committed to empowering teams to accept responsibility for their delivery, risks, and issues.

    You will focus on helping to improve team performance and remove roadblocks by creating an environment, in which teams are highly engaged and enabled.

    You Will

    Collaborate closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to analyse business needs, collect requirements, and assist technical and business teams with documentation and project management.

    Effectively translate and accurately communicate to technical and non-technical stakeholders as well as facilitate discussions within a multidisciplinary team.

    Maintain momentum by actively addressing risks and issues to keep your team moving at speed - often requiring you to track, manage and communicate dependencies and mitigate or remove risks as they are discovered.

    Interpret and plan projects or workload forecasts in collaboration with functional areas or departments. Identifies and supervises the resolution of account-specific service issues, including the prioritisation of work requests.

    Clearly communic ate and report team plans , as well as technical and non-technical plans to stakeholders and suppliers.

    Make the process work, by keeping teams focused on the output, while you focus on keeping processes simple, and easy to follow.

    Drive team dynamics and collaboration by bringing people together, motivating the team, and conducting team health-checks and performance

    You Should Have

    Educational experience : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

    Proven experience in using Agile principles : You've had hands-on experience putting Agile principles into action. You can create a clear, open, and transparent framework for teams to deliver.

    You’re hyper-organised : Can make complicated information simple and easy to process

    Experience balancing multiple priorities : You can address internal risks and issues actively and know when to escalate them.

    You establish the team's cadence and tempo and ensure that it is sustainable. You understand how to monitor, manage, escalate, and communicate dependencies.

    Life-cycle perspective : The ability to deliver a project through the various stages of the product lifecycle from start to end.

    You’re naturally curious, love learning new things, and are proactive in sharing knowledge with others.

    A bias for action : You’re happy to roll up your sleeves and muck in. You possess a strong sense of urgency in driving projects to completion while achieving the desired business outcomes.

    You’re comfortable with chaos : Even without perfect precedents or direction, you can find solutions and chart a course to clarity and execution.

    You can figure out how to accomplish the impossible and handle change like a boss.

    Experience working both autonomously and in cross-functional teams.

    Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills : Using a range of communication skills to accurately communicate to technical and non-technical stakeholders as well as facilitating discussions within the team with potentially difficult dynamics.
