Position Overview

A Sales Support Representative achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and / or market segment by effectively selling the company’s services to existing and prospective customers through a relationship-

based approach. The role must be able to demonstrate products and / or services by personally contacting customers and scheduling in a time for them to meet and or talk via conference with the Sales Director.

General Responsibilities :

  • Assist Sales Director in the turnaround of proposals for prospects in various industries within a specific timeframe
  • Conduct and prepare market research and analysis
  • Utilise business tools such as the CRM system, Communication, Scheduling and Collaborative Tools
  • Conduct lead generation and appointment setting; research for new possible leads within a given territory
  • Obtain names and telephone numbers of potential customers from a variety of sources (online search, existing database / directory, etc.)
  • Qualify and schedule appointments for local sales representatives through outbound business to business calls
  • Provide assistance in creating and enhancing the campaign list, writing and editing sales and marketing materials / spiels
  • Accurately document status of leads generated; complete appropriate back-end tasks such as recording customer sales information at the time of sale
  • Keeps well-informed data about the products and services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through research
  • Utilize available resources to target cold calls and identify potential new customers
  • Ensures that quality sales are produced by developing expertise via networking, research, trade groups, etc.
  • Perform follow ups via email as directed
  • Validates leads and data on CRM system and makes sure that information is 100% accurate, updated and regularly monitored
  • Work closely with various company departments and personnel such as Marketing Manager, Operations Manager, and others
  • Assist in the coordination of conference and events within AU / US market
  • Any other task / duty as directed by client / management
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have completed at least 2 years’ Associate’s / Bachelor’s degree in any relevant course
  • Results-driven and goal-oriented; Background in customer service and sales (Inbound / Outbound : B2C / B2B sales)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Power Point, and Excel Spreadsheets) and is tech savvy
  • Experience in CRM systems is a definite advantage
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • With good comprehension and active listening skills
  • Has excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to be flexible to changing demands and challenges and exercise initiative
  • Highly self-motivated and energetic
  • Ability to be adaptable and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Dynamic personality with drive to reach decision makers is an advantage
  • Able to multi-task and has effective problem solving skills; quick, calm, and logical
  • Willing to be trained and has the right attitude towards work and colleagues
  • Can deal with clients comfortably and confidently at all levels of responsibility, authority, and rank
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure and stress whilst still being able to meet very strict deadlines
  • Willing to work in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in an early morning shift (7 : 00 am 4 : 00 pm)
