Ensures that plant equipment is available and in optimized uptime

Develop and execute the preventive maintenance schedule of the plant aligned with the production schedules

Review the maintenance report and provide directions for the corrective or preventative actions

Update the maintenance procedures based on the need of the equipment or generally acceptable engineering practices

Ensures the availability of critical spare parts of plant equipment and machineries

Provide technical expertise in evaluating the installation of new equipment, maintenance or repair procedures.

Oversee the general upkeep of plant grounds and buildings

Supervise and monitor in-house engineering works and projects (status, completion target, manpower allocation, material procurement and delivery of materials)

Collaborate with all stake holders in completing the work orders approved for execution

Preparation of design drawings, specification and estimates of in-house fabrication and construction projects

Supervision and monitoring of external contractor in the scope of work, permitting, safety requirement compliance, equipment / tools safety checks, orientation / safety first meeting and audits.

Develop the scope of works of capital projects and evaluate the proposals of external contractors

Review the project contract and act as contract administrator

Perform periodic review and auditing of project implementation to drive compliance to company policies and procedures

Ensure that all external contractor on site are compliant to statutory requirements

Assist in the procurement of materials as necessary

Maintain the records of all permits and regulatory compliance of the plant

Generate and submit periodic reports to government institutions (e.i Self- Monitoring Report, Hazardous Waste Disposal, Emission Test Report, DOLE Technical Inspection, etc)

Timely apply / renew / update the permits of the production plant

Serve as Pollution Control Officer of the production plant

Periodically update the location management and self with all applicable laws covering the operations of the production plant

Develop training materials and conduct effective training to engineering personnel’s.

Provide coaching and day to day direction to engineering personnel

Provide periodic reports of engineering activities / output to plant manager and other stakeholders on a regular basis.

Assist the plant manager in identifying improvement and capital project requirement of the plant.

Initiate purchase request of required for engineering operations.

Work on special projects as assigned.


Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Professional certification is a must.

Preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineer

5+ years of relevant industry experience, knowledge and skills in a manufacturing / industrial environment

Ability to work in fast paced environment

Ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of the organization

Ability to lead and influence project teams and functional leaders

Aptitude to lead and make challenging decisions in any situation

Mustbe willing to travel and have a valid driver’s license

Abilityto climb and / or work in elevated areas; standing / sitting for extended periods

Exposureto weather and environmental conditions (e.g., heat, dust, cold)

Willingnessto perform overtime hours including weekend and holiday work during seasonalpeaks

Physicallyfit to work at night to oversee night shift activities

    excellent in analyzing production data such budgeting / cost analysis, project management / layout, capital management, labor grid and other situational constraints.

    Must be able to provide sound recommendation to plant management based on information known.
