As a member of the ITINF Special Workplace Solution team within the global IT INF Workplace Servicesorganization the future position holder will be responsible to activelyparticipate in the global operation and management of all workplace services.
This includes the standard PC environment (OBIC PCs), the standard mobiles (iOSand Android devices), as well as defined special services for laboratory andproduction PCs.
A strong involvement into the regional client services team CSAPAC is expected as well, as well in the INF teams for PC platform and Mobile Deviceplatform.
Duties &Responsibilities :
Main Focus is :
Active participation in the support of the global workplace technologies and services, including 3rd level incident support and problem resolution tracking
Take over of global coordination activates, and work with defined end user groups during rollout of PC upgrades or new mobile configuration setups
Provide operational support and governance for business key user regarding WPS topics, e.g. PC security updates, security tread remediation, special PC configuration, etc.
Carry out proactive management, identifying incident trends and problem analysis, making use of available client system management tools
Ensure that operational tickets and projects adhere to corporate standards, as well as internal working instructions and standard processes
Mid term : Take over of Software Lead or System Lead roles.
Requirements : Experience :
University degree in computer engineering or similar education
6+ years of experience in working in client services technology or digital workplace area
Strong hands on experience in PC problem trouble shooting
Strong hands on experience in PC automation technics
Strong understanding of the client device operating systems, i.e. Windows, iOS, Android
Strong understanding of client device management technologies, ie. scripting, software distribution, system management center, GPO configuration, Windows OS management
Strong understanding of mobile device management technologies, i.e. Intune, MobileIron, or similar tool
Good understanding of network setup, configuration, and trouble shooting
Know how in the management of MAC devices is of benefit
Knowledge of ITIL processes and methodologies to deliver high quality support to meet customer needs
Fluency in oral and written English
