JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
This Research Technologist position will work under the supervision of Dr. Haouzi and a research project manager to develop and conduct research projects involving in vivo experiments in rodents (mice, rats) and large animal (sheep) models, as well as in vitro studies.
The responsibility of the Research Technologist will be to help in preparation of the lab / supplies that will be needed for research projects for the collection of in vivo data.
The Research Technologist will oversee daily operations of the laboratory related to NIH funded projects including maintaining / ordering appropriate supplies, scheduling and performing equipment repairs and documentation for facility certifications.
The Research Technologist will assist in research projects and will collaborate with other research staff within and external to the projects.
This is a fixed term appointment funded for one year from date of hire.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
