The Asia Pacific PBFA Manager is a finance professional with deep knowledge and experience of financial planning and analysis processes.
This role will team closely with the Asia Pacific Finance and PBFA Leaders to provide insight to Area Leadership of business performance, as well as forward looking modeling and decision support.
The Asia Pacific PBFA Manager will support the introduction of key financial tools, reports, and processes to optimize Area and Region performance, whilst providing a clear view of the financial results to all stakeholders.
Essential Functions of the Job :
Review inputs into Integrated Planning processes, including reinforcing key operating assumptions, challenging Plan integrity and alignment with agreed targets, and providing reporting & analysis for review and approval by Asia Pacific leadership.
Provide insight to Asia Pacific finance leadership in support of this strategic decision process.
Provide financial modeling and analysis services to Area, Regional and Service Line leadership to support business planning and operational decision-making.
Review weekly and monthly business performance and provide analysis and insights for Asia Pacific leadership.
Contribute to area-wide and global financial integration / operational excellence initiatives
Support half year forecasting activities, analyze forecast performance, understand the deviation to Plan and trend, and provide comment and action to Area Finance Lead
Promote Global guidance and processes to stakeholders across Service Lines and Regions
Partner with Global system administrator to co-manage the planning, forecast, and month end closing submission timeline
Collaborate with all Finance teams across Service Line, Regions, and Functions to drive improved efficiency and operational excellence in Finance work practices
Support the preparation of Asia Pacific leadership presentations, Asia Operating Executive, Regional Director of Operations, Asia Pacific Advisory Council
Execute ad-hoc analysis and projects as required by leaders
Knowledge and Skills Requirements :
Fluent in English written and verbal
Able to work in a self-sufficient manner, operating across multiple projects and priorities
Understands the commercial drivers of Service Lines and Regions performance
Synthesizes and communicates detailed financial information in support of an effective decision making process
Navigates the full extent of accessible EY resources to deliver effective solutions
Drives interactions that build trust and manage expectations with all stakeholders
Able to operate across a complex matrix organization

Supervision Responsibilities :
While there are no direct supervision responsibilities associated with the Asia Pacific PBFA Manager role, success is dependent upon the leveraging members of global and regional finance communities to achieve the common goal.
