As Supply Planning Staff you will be responsible for analyzing processes to identify gaps, propose improvement and implement the Distribution Planning team.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following :

  • Represent the Distribution Planning department in major global projects
  • Ensure that financial activities are performed by the operational team
  • Develop and provide reporting needed to manage the operations
  • Communicate priority cases to other departments and follows up until successful completion
  • Coordinate and liaise with all key functions to make sure that their shipment plans are aligned
  • Escalate any issues that could lead to supply gaps to existing governing bodies
  • Log, track and cascade all actions and decisions of key governance meetings
  • Monitor the accuracy of master data necessary to run the distribution plans and schedules
  • Identify and implement solutions to continuously improve and simplify the supply chain processes, and interfaces with key stakeholders
  • Subject matter expert in Problem Solving, data analysis and standard operating procedure management
  • Build continuous trust with stakeholders to make sure those global processes and projects are understood, communicated, implemented and committed within the network
  • Monitor and optimize the forecasted shipments according to the open customer orders
  • Provide appropriate and optimize shipping plans to prepare customers for receiving and storing medication according to required standards
  • Manage internal and external customers to satisfy the requestor prioritization
  • Manage the procedures and returns related to each customer and / or supplier
  • Handle inspections, legalizations, weekend arrivals and departures cases
  • Coordinate the shipments of products to the subcontractors and other GSK sites in collaboration with the relevant services
  • Invoice for processing and returns, letter of credits and other shipping documents
  • Provide consignee and customs broker with shipping information and documents then follow up until delivery execution
  • Develop and manage the import / export customs documents archive and procedures
  • Managing and optimize no-commercial shipment
  • Generate reports on key performance indicators, statistics based on data collection
  • Propose logistics and planning tactics to reduce costs and improve service level
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Be part of the constructive review of cost, budget and performance
  • Support and manage direct relations with Finance, Procurement and Customer Service
  • Increase communication and establish a governance with Global Manufacturing Supply

  • College Degree
  • 3+ years’ experience in supply chain management / logistics
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain and / or Business Administration
  • Strong analytical skills

  • Experience in a matrix organization
