Our Customer is a leading cross-channel customer engagement solution provider for the modern marketer headquartered in Chicago.
Our client lets marketers create personalized experiences, cross-channel messaging, and loyalty strategies.
Own the manual testing strategy for product features or areas to ensure compliance with functional, performance, and reliability requirements
Find bugs and report them to developers into an issue tracking system
Estimate and prioritize testing activities
Set up test plans for new features
Carry out manual per-sprint and per-release testing
Apply appropriate techniques to achieve the defined testing goals
Triage bugs found in testing and establish and communicate the severity of bugs
Document and present results of tests to the team leads
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or strong industry experience
5+ years experience with QA methodologies and web software testing
Ability to design appropriate, structured and thorough test cases to functionally test new capabilities
Strong attention to detail with ability to find edge cases and errors where others cannot
Experience using tools such as JIRA and familiarity with the software development lifecycle
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic understanding of web technologies, HTTP, REST, HTML, CSS, etc
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with local and remote teams in different time zones
