Position Description

The person on this position is a part of Global Simplification & Process Automation Team at Global Service Center. Responsible to deliver process simplification, workflow and automation services to 3M business operation teams, requirements gathering to capture as-

is process and map to-be process vision in the areas of advanced automation and robotics.

Expert who will solve business problems by using : sharp analytic skills, design thinking and interesting in solving business problems, ensure the delivered solution matches global business requirements.

You will be the technical design gatekeeper by designing, reviewing, gathering feedback from the Subject Matter Experts and the Architects (Product Owners) in addition to overseeing implementation of the end-

to-end functional solution.

Duties and responsibilities :

  • Analyze business processes and identify areas of opportunity to implement RPA and smart automation
  • Ensuring timely delivery of functional requirements such as elicitation, analysis, documentation and validation
  • Producing process definition document (PDD) - a keystroke level process map to transition process into next stage of delivery and bringing an understanding of business process / robotics to support development / testing during delivery.
  • Conduct requirements-gathering activities, like evaluating services, conducting stakeholder interviews, running workshops to understand the end to end process while identifying any automation blockers and the suitability of the process for automation.
  • Calculate automation % and FTE benefit and build effort estimates and perform initial prioritization.
  • Understanding the risks, assumptions, and dependencies associated with the process.
  • Work closely with RPA development team to ensure requirements are accurately mapped and suitable for development.
  • Be involved in all process automation activities from the initial prioritization, development and testing through implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining communication across the team and keeping the project on the right course
  • Ensure deliverables throughout the project phases have consistency and quality
  • Education and experience :

    Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Analysis University degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)

    Experience of working on projects using automation and robotic tools such as Blue Prism / Automation Anywhere / UI Path / VBA

    Must have leveraged Customer Experience centric approaches such as journey maps, pain point identification & moments of truth to drive digital transformation initiatives.

    Experience in RPA / automation assessment work to drive key automation outcomes

    Detailed story writing experience in an Agile / Scrum project using Jira Familiarity with process improvement and transformation methodologies like Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen etc.

    Hands on experience in MS Visio, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel and MS PowerBI

    Knowledge and skills :

    Fast learning and well developed analytical thinking, design thinking and problem solving skills.

    Proficient and fluent in English for all written and verbal communication.

    Business Process Management knowledge and good understanding of adopting into the existing processes - technologies, tools and solutions.

    Exposure in the areas of Enterprise Architecture, ERP, customer digital experience, AI and machine learning will be beneficial.

    Adaptable, able to work across teams, functions and applications

    Strong communication skills in presentation, interviewing and facilitating workshops MS Visio / UML experience is preferred SQL Databases knowledge and concepts is nice to have

    Experience in working at an global / multi-cultural environment. Self-starter
