The selected candidate will be joining the North America E2E Supply Chain Performance organisation at a critical and exciting time in the Optimisation phase of its Journey to Excellence.
This will be a new role in the organization that will have a key focus on balancing base oil supply across all plants in North America vs.
the cost of inventory / capacity constraints at various plants.
The Base Oil Demand Coordinator will be the key interface between the North America Base Oil Supply Team, Materials Schedulers (located in the SBO) and suppliers of base oils across the globe.
Job Purpose : The purpose of the Base Oil Demand Coordinator is to ensure accurate forward communication of the regional base oil demand and to manage through any constraints with the local planning teams (production schedulers), as well as to monitor and drive base oil supplier performance of both internal and external base oil suppliers.
This role will also act as the Regional Lead Super User for Hydrocarbon Management (Base oils) and as such supports the material schedulers and the production sites in the region where it concerns materials planning and inbound receipt of Base Oils (first level process support for end-users in LOBP).
The expectation is that the Base Oil Demand Coordinator will interface with members of the Base Oil Team, materials schedulers in the SBO, regional contract holders as well as project teams during base oil sourcing transformation and reformulation initiatives.
Being the lead super user for HM processes, there also is a close working relationship with global process experts and the successful candidate will be expected to attend global super user calls and report back key takeaways to the broader E2E LSC Performance team.
