This exciting role provides the opportunityto :
Be a high performing business partner supporting the Power QualityDivision plant location in the Philippines
Deploy large-scale HR initiatives, programs and processes at the newstart-up facility Develop and deploy standard best practices
Coordinate Human Resource Programs and day-to-day personnel activitiesin accordance with legal, divisional, and corporate guidelines
Your essential responsibilities :
Act as a business partner, strategic solution provider, advisor andcounselor for the PQ Leadership team
Keep employees informed of all changes in HR policies. Counsel withemployees on these policies
Develop, recommend and implement HR policies and procedures. Assure thatplant HR policies and practices comply with the applicable provisions offederal and state labor laws including the maintenance of necessary files
Direct employment activities assuring that properly qualified employeesare recruited and hired for company positions
Plan, organize, and oversee all HR activities for the plant. Leads in setting department goals andobjectives
Work with all managers to develop education / training programs to meetthe needs of their workforce
Maintain good public and employee relations status
Implement, promote and maintain a safe work environment by implementinga culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance andapplication of rules.
Identify, control and administer risk and danger in ownarea
Promote the company’s mission and vision by actively supporting Eaton’sethics and values as well as quality policies
Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction,productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards andrecognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results
If you have :
Bachelor’s Degree in business or organization psychology from anaccredited institution
Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading the HR function (staff levelposition) in a large plant (500+ employees)
8-10 years progressive Human Resources experience with at least 5 years ofmanaging people
Knowledge of Philippines labor laws; strong HR network with currenttrends and market practices
Strong labor relations experience
Manufacturing experience is a must; preferably with MNC
Highly experienced HR professional with strong plant employee relationsexperience; with proven ability to counsel and advise in various employmentrelated matters
Strong HR business partner experience with solid business acumen andability to effectively partner with plant leadership team
Excellent interpersonal skills required, including use of discretion,tact, and judgment
Proven ability to influence and work effectively across all levels in ahighly matrixed environment
Strong drive for results and sense of urgency
Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to managemultiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to successfully drive change and leadershipownership / accountability
Excellent English written and oral communication skills
Highest standards of ethics, and ability to lead by example
High level of managerial courage and not afraid to push back
HR generalist background, especially experience in workforce planning,strategic planning(plant-level), and workforce development strategies
