About the role

The Business Support Consultant role provides operational support for the Self-Assurance Activities (SAA) Operations group.

This role will be responsible for centralized work distribution and technology & human capital capabilities (staffing / capacity), assigning SAA activities and obtaining data sampling directly from SAA Data Infrastructure for scheduled SAA reviews.

This role may support policy & procedure management, account error corrections & continuous development / consistent training.

The role will provide support for centralized testing effectiveness reviews to ensure effective & sustainable self-assurance activity results.

Additionally, this role may provide operational support for business review process by partnering with the business leaders & control partners to review initial results, determine necessary actions (overturn or uphold) and provide operational reporting for SAA leaders to identify gaps and trends in initial results.

Key responsibilities may include

  • Assigning SAA activity and obtaining data sampling directly from SAA Data Infrastructure for scheduled SAA reviews.
  • Creating test scripts methodology and sampling approach as well as performing maintenance activities for Wells Fargo Auto Self Assurance Activities
  • Executing centralized testing effectiveness reviews to ensure effective & sustainable SAA results
  • Providing feedback to leadership to help establish operational metrics and oversight practices to monitor team activities
  • Supporting a culture of continuous improvement and seeking opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiencies through use of technology and identification of best practices
  • Supporting creation of standardized operational processes and procedures for execution of self-assurance activities
  • May support initiatives to implement sustainable corrective actions for SHRP issues

    Required Qualifications :

  • 3+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following : administrative support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning
  • Desired Qualifications :

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems

  • Additional Desired Qualifications :

  • Experience with and knowledge of work distribution for multiple teams
  • Knowledge of Wells Fargo Auto and their systems of record (including, but not limited to iTop, CARS, SHAW)
  • Knowledge of quality review application(s) (eg. NICE, ACES)
