Intelligent Automation Control Administrator
The Team
The Intelligent Automation Centre of Excellence (IA COE) enables Customer Operations to exceed business and customer outcomes through the integrated application of Lean process improvement with automation capabilities including robotics, workflow and other emerging technologies.
This approach focuses on improving customer value while minimizing waste. We are shifting the management approach from vertical silos to optimizing the flow of information, products, and services horizontally across technologies, market events, and operations to customers
The Role
The IA Control Administrator is a key member of the team, working as a champion for Business Process Improvement, orchestration and automation.
The role ensures that Workflow and RPA solutions, once deployed into production, are operational and functioning as crafted.
The role works very closely with the IA Delivery Lead, IA Business Analyst, IA Developers, Solution Architects, and Business SMEs, and would be required to help other team members as required.
The role requires good technical and data skills, and is responsible for the Service implementation , including supervising and administrating automation solutions, managing incidents and resolving issues, problem management and prioritising the service backlog.
Responsibilities
Have an up to date view of the latest BPM, BPMS and RPA technologies and innovations and contribute to the IA Delivery Methodology and Strategy
Define and develop the quality standards for Intelligent Automation process orchestrator to ensure that work scheduled and completed to high standard
Actively participate and support automation solutions, especially critical metrics and monitoring requirements, ensuring that the service design aligns with the IA Service Management strategy
Support the IA Service Management strategy, operations model, and processes to ensure successful operation through an understanding of the required partner and customer outcomes
Supervise and manage the automated solutions, technology and infrastructure that support delivery and manage events
Manage incidents to restore service as quickly as possible, and within the agreed service levels with operations and technology
Supervise the Problem Management process to ensure full root cause analysis, identify a solution and implement into production
Support the team in the deployment of solutions to the production environment, minimizing impact to the existing operations through effective Change, Configuration and Capacity Management
Produce and distribute regular performance reports, working to identify and key trends or issues for the Service Backlog
Review, contribute to, and support test plans and scripts
Experience / Skills
Experience administering robotics automation and workflow processes; ideally through UiPath and IBM BAW
Experience in business and system analysis, Business Process Management and modelling, and associated logic
Proven Business facing experience, with knowledge and skills gained through wide-raging experiences across financial products, services, markets or functions
Excellent and effective communicator, both verbally and written, to all levels of management, and externally
Experience of Operations Management, with Software and Service Management knowledge
Applies a broad perspective to identify and solve complex problems, which may be multidisciplinary or require an in-depth evaluation
Makes good decisions in non-routine situations under pressure

Qualifications
Minimum undergraduate qualification in technology related subject is preferred, e.g. IT, Computer Science
4-6 years of experience working on similar position in a corporate organization
3+ years experience in systems configuration / development, and / or a Technology or Service Operations role
