Andworx is looking for a Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint Engineer to establish an enterprise-wide SharePoint platform enhancing information-sharing and collaboration across our Federal client's agencies.

This is a growth opportunity for the right candidate to develop and showcase their Microsoft Power Platform skills in Power App, Power Automate, and Power BI.

The candidate in this position must have excellent communication skills, strong proofreading and interpersonal skills to oversee the SharePoint site design, development, maintenance and provide day-to-day support for SharePoint for our client's user and user groups.

Note : Due to COVID-19, this position allows telework, however, 2-days on-site are required or as-needed. On-site location is Washington, D.C. Metro Area.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, programming, or related area.
  • 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a training or education environment.
  • Proficiency in security operations and corresponding processes and procedures including knowledge of IT / software can be employed to streamline, track, and produce metrics.
  • Ability to utilize a variety of methods, techniques and materials used in the design and production of SharePoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including strong proofreading and interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess excellent written and spoken command of the English language.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, InfoPath, Project).
  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance in the near future : eligibility for this job requires U.S. citizenship.
  • Primary Responsibilities

    As the SharePoint Administrator, this candidate will have a keen awareness and understanding of the customer's mission and operations, enabling them to recommend SharePoint strategies to enhance user and user group experience :

  • Develop automating processes and create workflow processes.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain SharePoint collaboration environment.
  • Collect, analyze, and create various reports within SharePoint.
  • Provide ongoing production support, author detailed documentation of support activities, and develop and deploy upgrades for client SharePoint sites.
  • Provide technical consultation with other personnel, testing services, and user support and training.
  • Provide SharePoint site stabilization and advanced problem resolution including analysis of system architecture, design and coding of modules, work with storage support personnel, and interface with technical experts.
  • Collaborate with our client to identify shortcomings, analyze existing processes, recommend strategies of process improvement and tools to achieve more efficient results keeping up with current technologies.
  • Provide site design, coding, and expert assistance with client's SharePoint sites.
  • Create and maintain SharePoint templates.
  • Ensure consistent messaging in support of the customer's strategy by participation in the leading of development and execution of integrated communication campaigns on key agency topics.
