The office in Cebu, Philippines is responsible for medical record processing operations RNs, Medical Technologists, Pharmacists, Physical and Occupational Therapists, Data Processors and Retrieval Agents who work hand-in-hand with a wide-range of medical records, creating usable databases and beautiful patient timelines.

Job Brief

We are looking for an IT Manager to provide site-level IT governance to our Cebu ops team. You will put in processes such as incident management, problem management, help desk management, access management, and IT operations control.

You will be managing a team of IT administrators and collaborating with Operations and Site Success teams.

To be qualified for this role, you should hold a degree in a relevant field, like Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering.

Microsoft, Cisco, Linux or similar certification is a plus.

IT Operations

  • Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade our site networks and servers
  • Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
  • Ensure network security and connectivity
  • Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
  • Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords (via G-suite Admin)
  • Resolve problems reported by end user
  • Define network policies and procedures
  • Specify system requirements and design solutions
  • Research and make recommendations on server system administration
  • Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
  • Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports
  • Dispatch IT peripherals to new hires (whether they are on onsite or work from home set up)
  • Maintain hardware and software inventory
  • Team Management

  • Monitor performance of the IT team
  • Manage performance reviews of team members
  • Conduct coaching sessions with team members
  • Create succession plans for the IT team
  • Vendor Management

  • Manage vendors providing support systems / services to IT Operations and hold accountable to the contract including performance levels.
  • Source and coordinate with IT vendors for site / work from home requirements
  • Negotiate with vendors IT peripherals pricing
  • IT Service Delivery

  • Responsible for the development, review, and certification of all back-up and disaster recovery procedures and plans.
  • Partner with company managers on internal and external IT Operations support and services.
  • Requirements

  • 5+ years as IT Manager
  • Proficiency in managing resources in a Chrome OS and G-suite IT environment
  • Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
  • Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
  • Ability to set up and configure server hardware
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
  • Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
  • Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus
