JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
The Department of Pediatrics Research Resource Office (PRRO) is seeking a Level 2 Human Research Technologist to assist with performing and directing a wide variety of specialized tasks across several research studies.
overseeing data collection and organization; assisting with REDCAP modifications and data analysis; and training new hires or students assisting with the project.
This person will also complete all study specific procedures according to protocol and company policies, SOPs, review study documents retained at clinical site and maintain study supplies inventory, create recruitment packets, sample collection packets, and quality assurance audits Familiarity with REDCAP and Microsoft Excel are necessary.
Prior research experience is strongly preferred. Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. This is a fixed term appointment funded one year from date of hire with the possibility of refunding.
CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS :
Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
