To drive, design engineer, implement and support the Global TSS IT Service Management platforms that TSS Provides centrally for the whole Vodafone Group and different Local markets as part of the Mega IT Transformation program

  • Technical lead for the ITSM core engineering domain which involves in technical guidance to the team members, people management & mentoring.
  • Accountable for the installation, set-up, build and deployment of the ITSM environment.
  • Perform PoV & POC Proof of Value & Concept for customers on our platform to attract new business opportunities.
  • Technical assessment for new vendors and discover new opportunities.
  • Technical capabilities to perform / lead new in-house development opportunities based on customer requirements.
  • Supports project and transition managers in the project plan build, making technical decisions, estimating project costs and timelines
  • Interacts with the business stakeholders and process owners
  • Involved in bidding process and pre-sale activities
  • Provide Integration Design as well as consultancy of the different environments for service implementation including E2E Capacity & Sizing while Assure maximum flexibility for Global Applications requirements, maximum expandability for extended forecasts and maximum reliability assuring high availability while decreasing the cost
  • 6-8 years of experience in different service management areas and a minimum of 6 years working with BMC tools, with proven experience in BMC Remedy development and BMC Remedy Configuration.
  • Strong technical expertise in developing web services APIs and advance programming skills in SQL, Shell scripting and programming language such as Java, Perl, Python, Powershell, Javascript
  • System and web application servers administration skills (Linux, Windows, JBOSS web application server, Apache)
  • Ability to interact with architecture designs and compose LLD documents for new engineering solutions
  • Proved hands on experience in taking and owning technical decision.
  • Proficient in ITIL methodology and especially change and configuration management processes
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills and ability to deliver excellent results and deliverables within projects and programmes.
  • Excellent documenting and oral presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a complex ecosystem and manage priorities accordingly.
