KYC Department Head is a person identified to have the knowledge, skills, and experience in operations management. The primary objective / goal of the KYC Department Head is to oversee and ensure a consistent high service performance delivery of the KYC services to the stakeholders through capacity planning and monitoring, data analytics, process refinement and evaluation of customer feedback to address issues / improve quality of processes.
If you are good at :
Managing people and has a moderate to extensive level of experience in managing managers.
Managing an operational department. Accountable for the performance and results of the department which executes multiple operational processes for a functional area at a medium to complex level of complexity.
Ensuring compliances with the rules and procedures that are prescribed by Risk and Compliance.
Looking after the internal and external audits while overseeing the departmental budget.
Acting as a coach and mentor for the team leads and is responsible for the development of the department.
Being accountable for the department plans, process and change management, business priorities, resource allocation and policy formation.
Decisions are guided by resource availability and functional objectives.

Receives general guidance and oversight from their reporting line. Understands the mission and vision of the company and how the department contributes to that.
Has extensive experience with KYC, AML, CDD, EDD, and FATCA
If you can :
Handle a team of 50 FTEs
Coordinate well with your stakeholders
Oversee and ensure a consistent high service performance delivery of the KYC services to the stakeholders through capacity planning and monitoring, data analytics, process refinement and evaluation of customer feedback to address issues / improve quality of processes.
Provide process improvements. Knows how to deal with escalations for complex and high risk issues. Advises strategic management on measures / solutions.
Provides permanent solutions.
Daily coordinates and monitors all mid-term tasks and activities to be executed in accordance with the Service Level Agreement’s, KPI’s and applicable procedures.
The tangible outcomes of the execution will be visible on mid-term. Set priorities.
Know how to have the right people at the right time at the right place, which means anticipating on the attrition via active succession planning in the department / function and by hiring new staff.
